Works on Amalfi paper

Unique pieces

Above Amalfi there’s an ancient building, the “Amatruda paper mill”, where I directly go to buy the paper to create these works. It’s a precious paper, handcrafted piece by piece, made from natural fiber. It doesn’t deteriorate over time and is eternal. The Vatican uses Amalfi paper for its so-called prestigious publishing. The technique I use to create these works is pencil drawing and watercolor.

The subjects are often stars of cinema and music, but I also execute commissioned portraits. The prices of these works are considerably lower than those of oil paintings on canvas, yet the quality is sometimes superior. They are unique pieces, archived, and delivered to the collector along with the certificate of authenticity and the artwork’s archival number.
